KCS Corporation provides engineering, surveying, project management, construction engineering, Inspection, construction management, and computer aided design and drafting services for a variety of projects within the areas of Infrastructure for Public and Private Clients. 

KCS Corporation provides civil and structural engineering and computer aided design and drafting services for the following types of work:

KCS Corporation and its staff has worked on multiple infrastructure projects.  Following is a list of a few of those projects:

·         KCS Corporation assisted with surveying for Chicago’s O’Hare Airport expansion project and Skyway rehabilitation project; structural steel fabrication and connection design for floor modifications at O'Hare Airport; structural analysis of speaker support cable system at a public concert facility; and structural analysis of stairs and handrail at a public school etc.

·         KCS Corporation lead staff has worked on major infrastructure projects such as the Dan Ryan Expressway and Wacker Drive Reconstruction projects.

·         KCS Corporation has provided services for commercial projects for various chain stores and franchises, local banks, self storage buildings etc. The work provided included permitting with various Jurisdictions and governmental bodies.

·         KCS Corporation has provided complete engineering, surveying and construction support for hundreds of cell sites in several states for various carriers such as US Cellular, Clearwire, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon over the years.

·         KCS Corporation also provided engineering, surveying and construction support for various power generating facilities and utilities. Such services included substation design, power transmission and distribution and wind and solar power generation projects in various parts of the country and Canada.

KCS Corporation has developed a significant amount of technical expertise utilizing various civil, structural, architectural software and engineering programs over the years. Below is a list of engineering and computer aided design and drafting software that have used on a variety of projects.

·         Civil Engineering software such as: Microstation, GeoPak, AutoCAD, Eagle Point, and Various Hydraulic Programs such as HEC-1, HEC-RAS, HY-8, WSPRO, HY-22, and HYDRAIN & HYDRAFLOW.

·         Structural Engineering software such as RISA suite of softwares, STAAD Pro, LPile, etc.  In addition, several standardized calculations have been established using MathCAD.  Also experienced in the preparation and review of structural fabrication drawings and design of connections.
